Graduation from a New York State or regionally accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree, and three (3) years of experience in preparing, researching and monitoring grants from state and federal sources.

The Department of Health Services is seeking a Grants Coordinator for the Department of Environmental Quality.
KEY ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE :
Act as the administrator of a Countywide programs to issue grants for the Department of Environmental Quality.
Lead a team of administrative staff members who are responsible for processing, issuing, contracting and payment of grants.
Regular public communication regarding the status of the program.
Improve efficiency to maximize grant output by identifying staffing needs, process improvements, and dissolution of bottlenecks.
Develop and provide program metrics to effectively measure program performance.
Present data driven proposals for program changes and improvements.
Vision to implement new grant programs.
