Manufacturing Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a First-Line Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to support the Tube, Duct and Reservoir Center team in Algona, Washington. Position Responsibilities: Manage employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines. Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies. Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership" 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint). Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role. 1+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data. 1+ years of experience using Boeing Production System (BPS). Commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free (IIF) principles. Ability to work variable shifts.
