Board certification/eligibility in Radiology or Nuclear Medicine Key Job Responsibilities: This position will always function as a trainee for advanced PET CT/PET MR. In the first six months of the fellowship, the position will function as a trainee when they participate in reading sessions in PET imaging and being involved in molecular imaging. The training includes research time in PET and molecular imaging. In the second six months of the fellowship, optional independent clinical activity may include general clinical PET examinations using routine radiopharmaceuticals, dependent upon achieving proficiency in reading these studies as obtained during the first six month training period. The position will always function as a trainee when they are developing an academic career in molecular imaging, learning about research methodology, and investigating the new molecular imaging agents. An additional, and optional, component of this appointment outside of the fellowship is providing independent clinical services for the Department of Radiology as necessary and as assigned by the Department Chair. Work may be carried out at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, Unitypoint Health-Meriter Hospital and/or other radiology outpatient or outreach sites and extended coverage areas as necessary.
