Responsibilities

  • Develop models of space system components such as sensors, actuators, and vehicle dynamics for use in software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop, and emulator-based simulators

  • What You Need to be Successful
  • Minimum Requirements for a Member of Technical Staff:
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field
  • 3 years or more of applicable professional or academic experience
  • Experience performing technical support in complex environments involving customers, program offices, engineering support, and contractors
  • Experience programming in Python and C/C++
  • Relevant project experience in embedded systems, space system design, dynamics, control systems, control algorithm design, or modeling & simulation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
  • In addition to the above, the minimum requirements for the Sr. Member of Technical Staff - Multidisciplinary Guidance Navigation & Control include :
  • 5 or more years of applicable professional or academic experience
  • Previous experience leading highly technical project teams

  • Familiarity with software development processes and tools including version control, compilers, IDEs, software engineering and coding standards
  • Experience with Linux/Unix systems
  • Knowledge working with the Atlassian tool suite, including JIRA, Bitbucket, and Confluence
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and concepts
  • Current active Top Secret security clearance

We develop high-fidelity closed-loop hardware and software testbeds to test the software to assess its readiness for flight.
