Oversee the daily operations of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and security. . Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment. . Manage and coordinate all repairs, renovations, and refurbishment projects. . Ensure the facility is clean, well-maintained, and presents a professional image. Vendor & Contract Management: . Source, negotiate with, and manage contracts for external vendors, including janitorial, security, landscaping, and maintenance services. - Monitor vendor performance to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met. . Manage the facility budget and control expenses related to utilities, supplies, and services. Health, Safety & Compliance: . Ensure the facility complies with all local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA, Fire Codes). . Conduct regular facility inspections and risk assessments. . Act as the primary point of contact for emergency preparedness and response, including creating and implementing emergency procedures. - Manage waste disposal and recycling programs. Space Management & Projects: . Plan and coordinate office moves, additions, and changes to the workspace (office ergonomics). . Assist in managing space allocation and layout planning to maximize efficiency. - Oversee small to medium-scale construction and renovation projects on time and within budget. Required: . Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. - Proven experience of [e.g., 5+ years] in facility management or a similar role. - Strong knowledge of building systems, operations, and maintenance. . Excellent understanding of workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations. . Proven experience in budget management and financial acumen. . Superb vendor and contract management skills. - Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities. . Strong communication and interpersonal skills. .
