Assist surgeons and surgical teams in cases, ensuring all clinical standards and safety protocols are followed.
Prepare operating rooms by setting up instrumentation, equipment, and supplies according to surgical needs.
Monitor patients intraoperatively and collaborate with anesthesia and surgical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Perform post‑operative tasks, including proper documentation, equipment processing, and safe patient handoffs.
Restock, clean, and reset surgical rooms to ensure the department is fully prepared for the next day's procedures.
Communicate effectively with day‑shift leadership to report any supply needs, equipment issues, or workflow updates.
Requirements
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum 1 year of perioperative nursing experience preferred. We are also willing to train.
Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical workflows.
Ability to work independently and problem‑solve in a fast‑paced, overnight environment.
Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
Work Shift Details:
Nights -12 Hours, 7p-7a, with rotating weekends and holidays. Full time 0.9.
