Idaho Power - located in vibrant Hailey, Idaho - is looking for a Service Specialist I or II to join our Wood River Valley Operations Center. It's an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. What does a Service Specialist I or II do for us?
They work with a high degree of accuracy to perform tasks in support of lines core business practices regarding the construction and maintenance of the distribution lines system for internal and external customers in Idaho.

A COMPETITIVE CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
Knowledge of:
Idaho Power and State Electrical Connection and Energization Statutes and Rules
SOX guidelines governing financed work orders, basic material processes, customer billing, protecting customer information, basic electricity principles, customer satisfaction indicators, Public Utility Commission, lines core processes
Mapping symbols, device recognition, Microsoft programs, basic accounting principles
General ledger (FERC) accounts, rate schedule and tariff guidelines, Rule H. Knowledge of CR&B, including application of account processing charges, meter reading and billing schedules Rates including, Rate 01, 06, 07, 09, 09P, 19, 19P, 24, 40, 41, 42, 15, 66
DD Viewer, Field Services mapping systems, Fuse, Passport/Asset Suite, Customer Information System, BI Launch pad, CLRIS, Mobile workforce, Etrackit, city permit websites, county assessors websites, and standard SharePoint functionality
Skills in:
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Building productive work relationships, critical thinking, working in a team and independently, assisting with the training and mentoring of new Service Specialists
Understanding scope of work, troubleshooting issues that may be critical, sensitive, or urgent in nature
Ability to:
