Our Associates join from a range of backgrounds, including policy and advocacy, venture capital, communications, consulting, nonprofits, and more. Our Associates are embedded in our Programs and Policy team, reporting to a Director. How You'll Contribute to our Impact: Grants Management Facilitate the discovery and due diligence process of prospective grantees End-to-end execution, monitoring and support of grant lifecycle, including collating relevant materials for diligence and reporting, and tracking correspondence Partner with our Portfolio Insights and Engagement staff to improve existing grantmaking processes and apply learnings Program Administration Maintain internal project management infrastructure to ensure robust knowledge management for assigned portfolio(s) Support team leads with program management, including stakeholder management, learning discussions and meetings, and coordination. Relationship Management and Partnerships Support Serve as a trusted point of contact for grantees, partners, and other external stakeholders Represent Omidyar Network at public events, as needed Engage diverse voices and coalitions to identify learnings from Omidyar Network's programmatic work to inform our current partnerships Research Conduct research on emerging issues and potential areas of programmatic engagement, as needed Maintain a pulse on issues related to emerging digital technology, spot and raise trends Location: This is a hybrid role , with employees working in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This position will be based out of our Washington, DC or San Francisco office. Employees must reside within 100 miles of their assigned office location. Candidates must have a current U.S. work authorization to be considered.
