About the role

About the Position: Incumbent will be part of the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM), G1, Military Personnel Division team located on Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. CECOM is a major subordinate command (MSC) of the U.S. Army Materiel Command, with a global mission to research, develop, acquire, field, and sustain advanced communications and electronics systems for the Army. CECOM has a workforce of approximately 6,500 military and civilian employees located world-wide. Please limit your resume to 5 pages. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11/NH-02 grade level in the Federal service which includes: (1) Allocating military personnel; (2) Monitoring automated military personnel system reports; (3) Reviewing request for personnel actions; (4) Operating a command sponsorship program; (5) Advising on military regulation requirements ;(6) Managing military awards and evaluations. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
