Shunter/Cleaner

Responsibilities

• Fuelling and oiling our fleet of buses and coaches
• Driving (shunting) vehicles safely around the depot and parking them correctly
• Cleaning the interior and exterior of our vehicles, including deep cleans and under-chassis washes using approved equipment
• Keeping our premises tidy and hygienic, including washrooms
• Carrying out vehicle changeovers, breakdown support, and collecting/delivering vehicles or parts when needed
• Logging fuel and oil usage and completing daily checks on equipment
• Supporting your team and contributing to a safe, efficient depot operation

Requirements

• A UK driving licence
• A positive, can-do attitude and pride in doing a job well
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to keeping things clean and safe
• A team player who communicates clearly and supports others

Salary You will be paid a basic annual salary of £26,343.72 per annum Shunter / Cleaner Based at our Thanet depot Located at Westwood Garage, Margate Road, Ramsgate, Kent CT12 6SL Pay rate of £12.99 per hour Shift pattern: 39 hours a week on a rota.
