Support Wall Street Prep instructors during virtual and in-person training programs for investment banking, private equity, and corporate finance clients
Assist participants as they complete financial modeling and valuation exercises, including:
3-Statement Financial Modeling
Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) Analysis
Comparable Company Analysis (Comps)
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
Leveraged Buyout (LBO) Modeling
Provide real-time technical support and answer participant questions throughout training sessions
Grade assignments and provide clear, constructive feedback
Assist instructors with classroom logistics, technology setup, and overall session flow
Help create an engaging and professional learning environment for participants
Travel to client sites and support intensive week-long training programs
Requirements
Experience & Background
1-3+ years of experience in:
Investment Banking
Private Equity
Equity Research
Debt Capital Markets (DCM)
Equity Capital Markets (ECM)
Investment Management
Corporate Development
Other relevant finance roles
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Skills & Interests
Strong foundation in accounting, valuation, financial modeling, and Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for teaching, coaching, and mentoring others
Professional, client-facing demeanor
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable speaking in front of groups and interacting with participants throughout the day
Availability & Travel Requirements
This role is best suited for candidates with strong summer availability .
Requirements include:
Availability from June through August (and ideally into September)
Ability to support training sessions Monday-Friday during normal business hours (typically 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM )
Willingness to travel and be on-site for week-long client training programs
Ability to travel to major financial hubs including:
New York City
Boston
Chicago
Other major U.S. cities as needed
Most in-person assignments consist of full-week seminars (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM) supporting investment banking and private equity analyst and intern training programs.

Position Overview
Wall Street Prep is seeking highly motivated finance professionals to join our team as Teaching Assistants (TAs) for our Summer 2026 training programs.
This role is ideal for individuals with prior investment banking, private equity, equity research, capital markets, or related experience who enjoy teaching, mentoring, and working with high-performing students and early-career professionals.
Teaching Assistants play a critical role in delivering an exceptional classroom experience by supporting Wall Street Prep instructors during intensive training programs for investment banking and private equity clients. TAs help answer technical questions, assist with financial modeling exercises, provide feedback, and ensure participants stay engaged and on track throughout the program.
This is a highly client-facing position that offers the opportunity to strengthen your own technical finance knowledge, presentation skills, and professional network while working alongside some of the industry's leading instructors.
