AECOM is currently seeking a highly experienced CEI Senior Project Engineer to support and oversee a variety of transportation and infrastructure projects within the Orlando, Florida region. This role will be responsible for providing technical expertise, leadership, and construction engineering inspection support to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contract requirements, quality standards, and schedules.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Directing a highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection program
Planning and organizing the work of subordinate and staff members
Developing and/or reviewing policies, methods, practices, and procedures
Reviewing programs for conformance with Department standards
Supports, oversees and coordinates engineering production activities for an operating unit
Makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative
Initiates and maintains contact with senior-level management within the company and is skilled in dispute resolution and negotiation of critical issues
Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Valid US Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review
Due to the nature of the projects a US Citizenship is required
Professional Engineer (PE) and the ability to obtain endorsement in the State of Florida within six months of Project NTP if registered in another state
