Join our team and start your journey today! We are seeking a dynamic Quality Engineer in Mikulov, Czechia. This role is a mix of Incoming Quality Control, Supplier Quality coordination and daily Production Support. The engineer will be responsible for managing material nonconformities and driving continuous improvement in line with the Copeland Business System. Key responsibilities of the role: Material nonconformities analysis and coordination of production support Management and Evaluation of assigned KPIs (Quarantine/Credit/Cost, Supplier PPM) Nonconformity management and internal communication Coordination of rework & sorting activities ( technical and resource evaluation of feasibility & options) Support of External communication ( initial communication to supplier, Procurement & SPE team involvement, status follow up) Support of evaluation of measurement and sorting prioritization (evaluation of time, task, resources to support task prioritization) Communication in problem solving, implementation of corrective and preventive measures. Analyze risks, analyze data, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions. Regular monitoring, verification and analysis of results from performed tests. Planning tests to ensure production quality ( in cooperation with the QC laboratory and quality engineering ). Implementation of quality management systems in the production process and updating of documentation within the framework of quality requirements Participates in the building and development of environmental management systems, fire protection, and occupational health and safety in the assigned area. It complies with the company's environmental and health and safety rules, fulfills the relevant programs within its activities, and prevents the occurrence of emergency measures and possible threats to the environment and safety at work. Evaluation of material control plans. Improvement of internal processes and continuous improvement activities in line with Copeland Business System. Production stop, support of improvement activities, etc. Required qualifications and experience: Background in Quality Engineering, Incoming Inspection or Supplier Quality. minim 3 years of experience in a similar position. Hard Skills: Data analysis, risk assessment, knowledge of quality tools (8D, Root-Cause analysis), and ability to read technical documentation. Soft Skills: Strong prioritization skills (managing resources/time for sorting and testing), assertive communication for internal production support and professional external communication. Languages: Czech/Slovak and English - fluent - mandatory About the location: Copeland in Mikulov has development, production and testing laboratory under one roof.
