HSE Inspector - Electrical

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in projects as Electrical Inspector or Supervisor.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in construction field.
• Project based experience in or with EHSS gained in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industry.
• Knowledge
• Be through with specifications to be met during construction phase for all temporary electrical connections and equipment's.
• Relevant competency and International Certifications as applicable.
• Language Skills required
• Writing and speaking skills in English.

Additional Information

General Characteristics (Job Summary) Shall be responsible for the pre and post inspections of all equipment's/Temporary camp & Office/site connections during construction for its electrical integrity and compliance with project and international standards. Roles and Responsibilities Establishing random & periodic inspection plans and maintaining of record forms as per project requirements and international codes & standards. Ensuring inspection status is controlled through efficient tools. Be pro-active and strive to find potential risks and take preventive actions. Directly report all deviations noticed to direct EHSS reporting authority and executing team for implemented corrective actions. Ensure all equipment's comply with regard to electrical standards. Works hand in hand with different teams and personnel on the assigned task. Supervise, inspect, and sign inspection certificates for all equipment's/panels/devices incompliance with the established Project guidelines. Ensure load bearing capacities for each electrical equipment complies. Ensure a periodic inspection schedule established, communicated, and complied with by sub-contractors. Ensure only connections and equipment's used are complying with industrial standards.
