Provide prompt, accurate support to sales representative inquiries regarding special applications, systems, or pricing.
Analyze and propose modifications to current products and services to meet customer requirements.
Communicate with customers to evaluate and understand their needs. Assess processes to meet those needs.
Process requests for modifications or options and other information not covered by published pricing.
Keep informed on new products and competitive models in the marketplace.
Prepare technical literature for internal and field application.
Conduct product training to sales representatives and customers.
Evaluate and propose improvements of product training processes.
Provide leadership and direction within sales and engineering organization.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience. Additional work experience may be considered in lieu of degree. High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years' related experience, 4+ years' experience in commercial HVAC strongly preferred.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Experience with HVAC component selections (coils, fans, heat exchangers).
Experienced in blueprint and technical document review with ability to understand and read technical details from prints, drawings, and other documents.
Independent analysis and judgment skills, using prior experience and knowledge to resolve non-standard problems.
Preferred bilingual English/Spanish.

This is a fast paced, high volume role managing multiple projects simultaneously with tight timelines. This role will provide technical expertise including design on commercial HVAC products to the sales teams and customers.
