Member Support Consultant - Essendon (part-time)

About the role

Sales Consultants (known at Goodlife as Member Support Consultants/MSCs) are the energy behind our clubs. They're often the first person someone meets when they walk through the doors; the person who helps them take that first step toward a healthier, stronger life. This is a fast-paced, people-first role where your energy and drive make a real difference. You'll be the driving force behind new memberships at your club, meeting new people, inspiring them to start their fitness journey, and helping them commit to a healthier lifestyle MSCs are right at the centre of the club experience; welcoming members, driving membership growth, and creating a positive, supportive environment every day. At Goodlife , you're not just selling memberships; you're helping people change their lives through health, fitness, and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Proactively contribute to club sales budget utilising sales promotions and referrals campaigns
• Generating and converting high-quality sales leads through community outreach, seeking referrals and the identification of new business opportunities
• Achieving the required number of lead contacts via telephone to maximise sales opportunities
• Providing sales presentations and tours to prospective members
• Creating great member journeys via positive and personalised interactions
• Achieving successful outcomes to enquiries
• Opening and closing the club as per the club roster
• Active involvement in member retention programs, inspiring members to continue their fitness journey
• Regular service calls to new and existing members to keep them engaged in their journey - recommending club-based products that would boost their results and amplify their experience
• About you:
• Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
• Ability to build rapport with people from varied walks of life with a desire to help people succeed in their goals
• The ability to solve problems, and overcome obstacles
• Outstanding communication abilities - able to listen, understand, empathise and influence others
• Tenacity with a natural drive to achieve individual targets and team goals
• Customer focused with a desire to achieve exceptional customer outcomes
