Responsibilities

  • Produce, and edit exclusive video content for MS NOW's direct-to-consumer offering, including news and non-news programming
  • Produce daily livestreams, including support for breaking news moments, special live events

  • Established knowledge of Vmix, Riverside
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours (weekends and/or late nights) to service needs of a 24/7 news product
  • Flexibility to respond to breaking news situations outside of regular working hours
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of digital gear (camera operations, microphones)
  • Deep knowledge and passion for news and politics
  • Deep knowledge of content strategy in digital, social media, streaming, livestreaming space
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communicative and collaboration skills
  • Additional Job Requirements:
  • Must be willing to work in New York, NY.
  • Must be willing to work weekends.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
  • Salary Range: $93,000 - $110,000

Additional Information

This producer role will be central to executing MS NOW's direct-to-consumer programming strategy, growing new audiences and as well as fostering deep engagement from MS NOW fans, inviting them toward richer experiences in our upcoming paid app. This person will work closely with the MS NOW Linear Programming and Digital Editorial teams to produce a daily content offering that drives subscriber growth and profitability. They'll support the MS NOW team by producing original content formats with existing talent and new voices. This position is represented by the Writers Guild of America East.
