Responsibilities

  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including being able to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 20 pounds and being able to sit or stand for extended periods of time at benches, workstations or while using laboratory equipment

  • The rate of pay for this position is $22.50/hr - $24.00/hr

Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a temporary team member to support the Coagulation Laboratory with essential daily operations. In this role, you'll help process and prepare samples, assist with routine clinical testing under supervision, and support laboratory workflow by managing supplies, answering client inquiries, and maintaining lab operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with a science background who enjoys hands-on laboratory work and contributing to a fast-paced diagnostic environment. Employees working in the laboratory must receive the pre-exposure rabies prophylaxis vaccination series prior to or immediately after hire, which will be paid for by the department.
