Administers work orders for general repair/replacement e.g. furniture, bathrooms fixtures within the university buildings. May assist with campus wide scheduling and billing for moves and carpet cleaning.
Monitors, orders, and distributes supplies and equipment to custodial staff.
Prepare written reports and other correspondence as needed.
May coordinate first response efforts to respond to emergencies, access situations, and coordinate crews in the process of clean up.

Education, Work Experience and Licenses:
Education: High School diploma or GED required. BA/BS with technical training preferred.
Work Experience: 5-8 years.
Valid and current MA State driver's license required.

The Supervisor, Custodial Services supervises custodial staff engaged in the cleaning and maintenance of university buildings and other related custodial services programs. May work with a special emphasis on after hours including evenings and weekends. Assures that assigned areas of campus facilities are orderly, safe from snow and ice hazards, and properly cleaned and maintained. May supervise the preparations of buildings for special events. Responsible for interviewing prospective employees and recommending the selection of qualified candidates. Responsible for properly training custodial staff. Reviews performance of staff and procedures to drive continued improvement. Expected to maintain a productive working relationship with faculty, students, staff, contractors and visitors to the university.
The hiring range for this position is $69.8k - $79.5k.
Schedule is Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM, this is a 35 hour work week.
