Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Build and enhance test automation frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency
- Work alongside developers and QA engineers to understand requirements, design test cases, and ensure testability of features
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast feedback and streamlined deployments
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code for test automation & perform code reviews for test automation scripts
- Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner
- Analyze test results and ensure adequate test coverage for all system components
- Contribute to performance and scalability testing to ensure the software meets required standards
- Drive improvements in QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance team efficiency and product quality
Requirements
- Solid experience in test automation or software development with a focus on quality
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#)
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright, or other
- Proficiency in testing APIs using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills
