Job Description
The Finance Operations Analyst, Business Services is responsible for the financial management, cost analysis, and internal customer billing processes related to the company's North American business services organization.
This role acts as the primary finance support for cost performance, including departmental spending analysis, allocation methodologies, intercompany and interdepartmental chargebacks, service costing, budgeting support, and operational reporting.

Job Responsibilities
Act as the finance lead for the Business Services organization, requiring minimal supervision.
Lead routine financial reviews with departmental heads, translating complex financial data into actionable operational strategies.
Monitor and analyze departmental spending across North America.
Track actual costs versus budget, forecast, and prior year performance.
Investigate spending variances and provide actionable commentary to finance and operational leadership.
Develop cost transparency reporting for internal stakeholders.
Manage monthly internal billing and chargeback processes across business units and legal entities.
Maintain allocation methodologies for business services functions including Finance, IT, HR, Manufacturing, Payroll, and other Corporate overheads.
Validate allocation drivers, usage metrics, and supporting calculations.
Prepare and process intercompany and intracompany billing entries.
Prepare recurring cost performance reporting packages and KPI dashboards.
Analyze service costs, headcount costs, departmental efficiencies, and recovery rates.
Assist with annual budget and forecast processes for shared service functions, acting as the primary point of contact for shared services leadership.
Execute and take ownership of month-end close activities related to shared services accounting.
Prepare accruals, reclasses, prepaid amortization, and allocation journal entries.
Maintain audit-ready supporting schedules and reconciliation documentation.
Identify opportunities to improve allocation methodologies, billing processes, and reporting automation.
Support implementation and optimization of finance systems and workflow tools.
Maintain documentation of allocation models, billing methodologies, and process controls.
