Staff Product Designer

About the role

We're looking for a Staff Product Designer who will own product design end-to-end for Fun. Consumer finance applications have become global-first. This shift to global applications has created fascinating product and design challenges. Global users interact with money across hundreds of different assets, payment methods, countries, currencies, and account types. Our job is to make deposit and withdrawal flows that adapt, convert, and feel native. Tucking all of this complexity behind the scenes so that we can deliver every user a personalized, delightful experience. We are looking for a self-starter. We work together Monday through Thursday for fast, iterative collaboration and optional WFH Fridays to reset and recharge.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product or interaction design experience, with some of that at staff or lead level
• Experience designing consumer-facing financial or crypto products
• Mastery of Figma and component-based design systems
• A portfolio that demonstrates both craft and thinking - you design and think about complete experiences, not just screens and pixels
• Strong grasp of motion design and how animation enhances (not decorates) usability
• Comfortable collaborating directly with frontend engineers - you know enough about React and CSS to have a real conversation
• Exceptional attention to detail, with a particular focus on visual detail - typography, spacing, hierarchy, color and the why behind every interaction
• Highly autonomous - you can define the problem, set your own direction, and execute without being managed
• Clear communicator who can bring engineers, PMs, and stakeholders along on design decisions
