Job Summary
Grady's new Emergency Care Center represents our commitment to expanding access to expert, compassionate emergency care in the South Fulton community. The 24/7 emergency department will treat adults and children experiencing critical, urgent, and time-sensitive conditions in a modern, community-based setting.
The Director for the Free-Standing Emergency Department reports directly to the Vice President of Emergency Services and provides leadership and management oversight for the Free-Standing Emergency Department. This role fosters positive relationships and engages professionally with patients, families, visitors, and team members to reinforce and advance the positive public perception of Grady Health System. Collaboration is central to this position, requiring close partnership with operational VPs, AVPs, Directors, team members, and both internal and external stakeholders across all locations. Through these partnerships, the Director of the Free-Standing Emergency Department supports Grady Health System's mission to enhance patient health and well-being.
