The Security Service Technician is responsible for independently performing service, installation and maintenance of security systems including intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, and other low-voltage systems. The technician ensures systems operate properly, meets customer expectations, and supports compliance with applicable codes and standards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Independently perform service, troubleshooting, repair, inspection, and maintenance of security systems including intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, and related low-voltage systems. Diagnose system issues and complete corrective actions in a timely and professional manner. Test and verify proper system functionality and compliance with applicable codes, standards, and customer requirements. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on security and low-voltage systems. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, system layouts, and technical manuals. Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete service work efficiently and safely. Complete service documentation, inspection reports, and work orders accurately and on time. Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors regarding job progress and system status. Follow all company safety procedures and customer site requirements Travel to job sites as required. Other duties as assigned by management.
