As a Program Manager II, you will support the business objectives at SNC. You will be responsible for total Program Integration Management of multiple complex projects, major systems and subcontractors with specifically focused responsibility for customer relationship, cost, schedule and technical planning, tracking and reporting, technical execution, and ensuring overall program performance objectives are achieved. You will typically manage programs of $20M or greater with varying development scope, greater than medium complexity and requiring high customer interaction. You will supervise the work of program and project staff and be responsible for add-on work and proposal tasks from first customer interaction, defining requirements, basis of estimates, negotiation and contract award. You will participate in business resource planning/tracking in coordination with other corporate entities and responsible to formulate a team that can fulfill program requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring program issues and problems are identified, tracked, and resolved; and for program risk management and ensuring risks are identified, mitigated, tracked, and managed. You'll be responsible for conducting routine meetings, interfacing on project/program status, developing proposals, researching/fact-finding, coordinating audits, and negotiating with project/program stakeholders to ensure enterprise initiatives meet cost, budget, and schedule constraints. You'll support the Program Director and Business Operations in fulfilling their responsibilities for the Business Area. The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains - air, land, sea, space and cyber. Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Management, Engineering or related field Typically 8+ years of progressive experience in project or program management Typically 3+ years leading medium scale project scope spanning 1-2 years, while leading teams made up of 5+ cross functional team members Experience with the evaluation of requests for proposals and/or quotes. Experience with preparing, reviewing, and submitting proposals and/or quotes. Experience with managing a complex project or larger program. Experience in team building, time management, conflict resolution, communication, briefing, presentation, strategic thinking, marketing, and literacy in the program management disciplines. Demonstrated financial acumen to ensure decisions are fiscally sound and responsible. Requires ability to execute coordination of all elements of a program, i.e., Program integration management. Perform task coordination, resource development, stakeholder identification, etc. Capability to manage program lifecycle conflicts, prioritize competing priorities/requests, and evaluate available resources. Requires ability to identify, assess, and control financial, technical, and legal risks. Experience managing programs involving aircraft modification.
