Inspect equipment, structures, and components for corrosion, deterioration, and surface damage.
Perform surface preparation activities including sanding, grinding, cleaning, masking, and abrasive blasting.
Apply primers, paints, sealants, and protective coatings in accordance with company and manufacturer standards.
Remove corrosion and perform minor repairs to restore equipment and structural integrity.
Operate and maintain corrosion control equipment, spray systems, and hand/power tools.
Conduct preventative maintenance and corrosion prevention treatments on facility and operational equipment.
Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records within the CMMS or other tracking systems.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety regulations regarding hazardous materials and coating applications.
Safely handle, store, and dispose of paints, solvents, chemicals, and hazardous waste materials.
Operate equipment such as forklifts, lifts, golf carts, and company vehicles as required.
Comply with company safety program and trainings.
Requirements
High School diploma or GED
1+ years' experience in corrosion control, industrial painting, maintenance, or related field.
Valid Driver's License.
Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
Availability to work day or night shift including weekends and holidays.
Experience with industrial painting, abrasive blasting, or protective coating application.
Knowledge of corrosion prevention techniques and material preservation standards.
Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and hazardous material handling requirements.
Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and safety data sheets (SDS). Experience working in aviation, manufacturing, industrial, or heavy equipment environments.
Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, project management tools, and CMMS software.
