We foster a culture of compassion, professional growth, and mutual respect-because when you thrive, so do those in your care! The hourly rate for this role is $24.50-$28.00 per hour DOE. Our Medication Aide: Reviews and follows the residents individually designed ADL directives. Makes accurate notes daily on residents' conditions, and chart on flow sheets. Reports changes to supervisor. Assists residents with toileting, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, nail clipping, and dressing Assist in serving meals, leading and attending activities. Remain current with all changes regarding residents and department operations; check schedules and activities to assist residents as necessary. Assist in the admission and discharge of residents Record vital signs and conditions on a scheduled basis or as needed. Provide verbal and physical assists to residents in transfers/ambulation. Answer call lights and other calls for assistance promptly and report any possible safety hazards. Maintains neat and clean work areas. Keeps resident rooms in order; provides comfortable, clean, safe environment at all times; dress residents as conditions require. Ensures assigned residents are provided an opportunity to participate in social, physical, creative, and spiritual activities of their choice. Provide our residents their daily medications, in accordance with the guidance of their prescribing clinicians. What you need to succeed: Must have a current CNA license in good standing. Must have a Medication Aide certification as required by the state. Must have current CPR/First Aid certification or obtain within 6 months of hire. Must be able to read/write/speak sufficiently in English in order to complete responsibilities of the position. Experience using electronic point of record/electronic health record software. Background check, drug screen, and other pre-employment screenings (physical, fingerprint, TB test) may be required per state/local guidelines.
