About the role
The Electrical Maintenance Planning Coordinator supports the effective coordination, control, and planning of electrical maintenance activities at the Esterhazy K2 site. This role ensures maintenance procedures, methods, and expenditures are optimized to deliver maximum equipment reliability and availability at the lowest economical cost. The position plays a critical role in driving safe, efficient, and compliant maintenance operations. What will you do? Ensure regulatory, corporate and site safety and environmental standards are being followed by conducting safety audits, risk assessments and housekeeping tours. Planning, scheduling, and work management. This includes working with supervisors, employees and contractors to plan and coordinate jobs. Set up and maintain preventative, predictive and asset management programs. MRO and Material Management. This includes sourcing parts, dealing with vendors and managing inventory levels. Resource allocation, backlog and contractor management. Cost control and services. This includes participation in Continuous Improvement initiatives to attain efficiency and cost control. What do you need for this role? Grade 12/GED is required. Journeyperson Electrician Certificate OR Electrical Technologist Diploma required. Minimum 5 years of Maintenance and Production experience in the Mining Industry is an asset. Good Knowledge of equipment. Effective planning skills. Knowledge of maintenance costs. Good computer skills are required (computerized maintenance monitoring and management system, Microsoft Office, time and attendance systems, Microsoft Project). Good communication skills, effective interpersonal and influencing skills, respect for peers and colleagues. Mechanical aptitude.
