Senior Commercial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Work within a multi-functional team to deliver Generative AI projects end to end across within a dedicated business unit. With the aim to improve commercial performance and customer experience.
• Responsible for the commercial delivery of Generative AI projects within a distinct business unit. Discovery - working with the business team to identify key areas of opportunity using Generative AI applications. Focusing on commercial benefits, whilst optimising business processes.
• Data Led Insights - using a data led approach to prove the benefit of tools through rigorous A/B testing. Responsible for testing design, implementation, and analysis.
• Business Case Ownership - constructing comprehensive business cases in collaboration with the business owners. Focused on driving business performance using evidence-based assumptions.
• Reporting progress regularly to the business unit working group, providing updates focusing on commercial impacts as a result of operational delivery. Escalating where appropriate to ensure hitting targets.
• Collaborating with colleagues within the business unit to ensure we can crystalise commercial benefits. Ensuring their buy in to achieve a common goal.
• Be an advocate of Generative AI applications, keeping up to date with the market and evolving technologies and educate people within Sky.

Requirements

• Skills Required:
• Robust knowledge of Sky's business model and it's interdependencies. Able to quickly understand the operation, identify inefficiencies and how Generative AI could drive commercial benefits.
• Strong background in Data Analytics, able to interpret large data sets and summarise the results into key points and actions. Feeding into commercial decisions and business case assumptions.
• Familiarity with Sky systems across the business, especially data systems able to deliver data driven insights.
• Experience in Tableau and/ or data studio, BigQuery experience and a basic understanding of ML is a plus. Training will be provided and is encouraged; we are a data led team who dire decisions using facts.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills, able to summarise complex technical/ business questions to key points and tangible actions.
• A passion to collaborate and restlessly drive change across the business to improve commercial performance and the customer experience. Leveraging the most advanced technology in the world.
