Our Johns Manville plant in Jacksonville, FL manufactures polyisocyanurate foam insulation panels for use in roofing systems. We produce foam panels as well as specialty items such as tapered, vented, composite, nail board and sheathing products.

Monday - Friday, with Saturdays as needed.

Your Day-to-Day
Use safe work practices including the use of eye, ear, respiratory and foot protection equipment as needed. Shows initiative in supporting plant-wide safety by following all safety procedures and policies and reporting hazardous conditions.
Maintain housekeeping standards, always keeping equipment and work areas clean and orderly.
Operate a forklift.
Work as part of a team; relieving and supporting other team members as needed.
Maintain communication to support a cohesive team and ensure quality products are made.
Complete production reporting.
Ensure department's continuous compliance with all policies, procedures, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
What You Bring to the Team
Forklift experience, certification preferred.
Valid driver's license
General math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages)
Must be able to accurately read a tape measure, work instruction, finished product specifications.
Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements
The ability to stand for extended periods
The ability to manually lift, push or pull at least 50 pounds safely and with proper body mechanics, sometimes while in awkward positions.
Use of hands (repetitive motion, grabbing, feeling, sensing, pulling)
The ability to work safely in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful work environment
The ability to safely and effectively work in an often-dusty work environment that experiences a broad range of temperatures (very hot to very cold).
The ability to bend, stoop or kneel repetitively.
The ability to reach or work above the shoulder
