Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead team members to identify, manage, and execute process improvement opportunities within the plant. You will oversee production staff to meet production and quality goals, resolve issues related to bottlenecks, and ensure that materials, equipment, and staffing resources are aligned to support the production schedule. You will support continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, cost, and customer service while fostering an engaged, team‑oriented workforce that drives strong business results. A Taste of Your Responsibilities Monitor production to ensure quality, productivity, and cost standards are met. Provide training so team members perform job duties effectively. Support sanitation operations as needed to promote and maintain a clean, food‑safe environment. Enforce plant rules, regulations, and procedures. Evaluate performance, communicate expectations, and share guidance that supports improved work outcomes. Support plant and company safety programs, maintaining high awareness and adherence to requirements including lock‑out/tag‑out, personal protective equipment, and confined space entry. Ingredients Required for Your Success High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Food Science, Agricultural Sciences, or related Natural Sciences preferred. Three or more years of supervisory experience. Experience working in a manufacturing environment. SAP experience preferred. Understanding of manufacturing processes and loss. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices. Working knowledge of plant equipment and safety practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and organizational skills. Willingness to work weekends and/or shift schedules with a strong work ethic and consistent employment history. Self‑motivated and capable of multi‑tasking and leading others. Physical Requirements More information about essential tasks and the facility will be shared during the hiring process. This role will require you to be in our manufacturing facilities. When visiting these sites, the physical requirements below may apply: You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination. You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size. This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment.
