Role Overview: We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our elite team taking care of inpatient Orthopedic/Neurosurgery patients. In this role, you'll lead the care for surgical and medical oncology patients, working hand-in-hand with a stellar healthcare team. Key Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited PA program NCCPA certification and BLS Certification Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure 2 years of inpatient experience in orthopedics and/or neurosurgery Medicine or Critical Care is strongly preferred OR Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations Master's degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility) Related National NP certification and BLS certification 2 years of inpatient experience in orthopedics and/or neurosurgery Medicine or Critical Care is strongly preferred Core Skills: Adept at anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders Skilled in multitasking and caring for diverse patient populations Resourceful in securing and deploying resources effectively and efficiently Effective communicator Relatable and comfortable with diverse groups of people Adaptable in approach and demeanor to match shifting demands in real time Additional Information: Location: Main hospital campus, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY Hours:13.5-hour shifts, This is a night position, 5:30p-7:00a, with weekend and holiday rotation required.
