Data Engineer

About the role

o Engage with key stakeholders to identify data requirements for a specific data products o Design, build & maintain systems that capture, collect, manage, and convert raw data into usable information, securing quality & integrity (implementation of specific software for appropriate data management...) o Implement & maintain relevant procedures to secure data accessibility & quality (on new data sources uncovered by data scientists...) o Secure effective integration of built models/systems within PR environment, connecting with relevant architects/engineers, and drive continuous improvement initiatives (including maintenance...) o Ensure full compliance with China data regulations , including PIPL (Personal Information Protection Law), CSL (Cybersecurity Law), and DSL (Data Security Law), in all engineering and data-processing activities. o Drive continuous improvements in engineering standards ensuring synergies with global engineering standards while respecting the local needs, automation, tooling, observability, and code quality. o Mentor and support Data Engineers , sharing best practices and providing technical guidance in complex scenarios. o Contribute to workforce planning, engineering estimations, and capacity management within squads. o Participate in evaluating data engineers during Recruitment, during build and support phases of the Products & Squads o Lead Data Engineering Estimations within squads/ products , co-owning resource allocation, utilisation & reporting o Co-own the day to day working with external partners in performance management, absence management and onboarding engineers to squads o Lead the transversal engineering topics through chapter time (market intelligence, cross-product/family initiatives...) as needed, and continuously develop their own skills based on industry trends/enterprise needs Job Posting End Date: Target Hire Date : 2026-06-01 Target End Date :
