Area Manager - General Trade - Balikpapan (East Kalimantan)

About the role

We are seeking a results-oriented Area Manager - General Trade to lead our operations in East Kalimantan. Based in Balikpapan, you will be responsible for managing distributor performance, expanding outlet coverage, and driving commercial execution in the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies for the Greater East Kalimantan general trade market
• Manage distributor operations including forecasting, coverage planning, and compliance
• Drive outlet expansion and improve numeric distribution
• Ensure execution of trade marketing programs and pricing strategies
• Lead and develop a team of field sales representatives to achieve KPIs
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities
• Analyze sales data and provide actionable insights

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in general trade sales, preferably in Kalimantan
• Experience in FMCG and distributor handling
• Strong leadership and execution capabilities
• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
• Self-driven, strategic, and results-oriented
