About the role

The Product Manager, Factory Software will lead the software systems that power our factory operations. This includes operator-facing web and mobile tools, hardware integrations, robotics, and computer vision systems that transform physical products into structured data and rich media. This role is highly cross functional and deeply operational. You will work closely with factory teams, engineering, R&D, and data partners to design and improve systems that increase throughput, accuracy, and scalability in a live production environment. This is not a desk-only PM role. The right person will spend time on the factory floor, observe workflows firsthand, identify friction points, and translate real operational needs into product solutions that perform reliably at production speed.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle of factory software and operational tools, from identifying the problem through launch and continuous improvement
  • Turn messy, real-world operational challenges into practical product solutions that make the work on the floor easier, faster, and more consistent
  • Translate workflows, operator pain points, and data needs into clear product requirements and usable specs
  • Work closely across the factory in Arkansas, with the product team in New York, and remote R&D partners to connect what is happening on the floor with what gets built
  • Use AI to prototype ideas, explore solutions, and communicate product requirements in a fast, practical way
  • Prioritize features and improvements based on operator feedback, data quality, and business impact
  • Build tools that help capture teams move more product with better quality and consistency
  • Monitor product and workflow performance and make adjustments that improve throughput, accuracy, and completeness
  • Partner with factory teams and R&D to roll out and improve robotics, camera systems, computer vision, and sensor-based tools used in the capture process
  • Identify new opportunities in ambiguous areas using operational insights and customer data requirements
  • Collaborate with the Data team to uncover insights that help improve workflows, experiments, and product decisions
  • Minimum Requirements:
  • 4+ years of product management experience, ideally building software for operational workflows, warehouse or manufacturing environments, hardware-enabled systems, robotics, computer vision, sensor-based tools, or other high-throughput internal products
  • Very comfortable using AI tools including Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools to prototype ideas, explore solutions, and move work forward quickly
  • Background in operations, logistics, manufacturing, e-commerce, or another fast-moving environment where software supports real-world workflows
  • Strong analytical instincts and a thoughtful, practical approach to solving problems
  • Clear communicator who can work well with technical teams, frontline operators and business stakeholders
  • Comfortable moving quickly in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift and not every answer is obvious at the start
  • Able to work through ambiguity, test ideas quickly, and iterate based on what you learn
  • Highly hands-on and energized by learning directly from the people using your product every day
  • Proven ability to manage complex workstreams and deliver strong outcomes across teams
  • Able to build strong working relationships across product, engineering, operations, R&D, data, and business partners
  • Comfortable being onsite, partnering closely with factory teams and observing workflows in production to understand what is working and where improvements are needed
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach regularly
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment which may include exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise
  • Work Environment:
  • This position operates primarily within a warehouse setting
  • The noise level can range from low to moderate
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts and vehicles (forklifts, trucks)
  • Why Join Us?
  • Be part of something groudbreaking. This is an unparalleled opportunity to assist in building the people function for a cutting-edge robotics studio at the forefront of innovation.
  • Hyper-growth environment. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping
