Buff & Touch Detailer - Hall Body Shop

About the role

The Buff & Touch Detailers will use machine-polishing on the vehicle clear coat to remove light swirls/oxidation, combined with precision paint application on chips or deep scratches to result in improved shine and reduced visibility of defects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES FOR BUFF & TOUCH DETAILER: - Use of rotary or dual-action polishers to level clear coat - Cleaning, sanding and applying matching paint to specific chips or scratches and finishing with clear coat - Applying wax, sealant or ceramic coating as needed to protect newly painted areas - Willingness and ability to jump in and assist in other areas of the body shop and reconditioning centers as needed QUALIFICATIONS FOR BUFF & TOUCH DETAILER: - Valid Driver's License, with 2 or fewer moving violations in last 3 years and ALSO no major violations in the last 3 years (DUI, reckless driving, etc.) - Three to six months related experience and/or training - Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency and general mathematic skills - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form - Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations MileOne Autogroup is an equal opportunity employer and we maintain a drug free work environment.
