Certain teams or positions may require additional in-office workdays. We are seeking an International Tax Manager to join our global Tax and Treasury team. In this pivotal role, you'll help us navigate the complex global tax environment, create tangible value, and work collaboratively to develop tax efficient strategies that enable business expansion and innovation. You'll also help build a world-class tax function and make a lasting impact on Notion's success and growth. What You'll Achieve: Own U.S. international tax provision calculations under ASC 740, including GILTI, FDDEI, BEAT, Subpart F, FTC, and related international components of quarterly and annual reporting Lead preparation and review of U.S. international compliance/information reporting (e.g., Forms 5471, 8858, 1118, 8991-8993), partnering closely with external advisors to ensure timely and accurate filings Manage the global filing calendar and audits to ensure timely and accurate filing Drive U.S. international tax planning & structuring initiatives for cross-border operations, expansions into new jurisdictions, M&A, and OECD Pillar Two readiness Oversee global transfer pricing policies and required documentation Identify, evaluate, and advise management on the international income tax consequences of legislative developments, including computational analysis Maintain and enhance tax models and processes for provision, forecasting, and compliance Serve as technical lead for audits/inquiries and special projects, including drafting/reviewing memos Own withholding tax processes for cross-border payments/transactions Identify opportunities to automate and scale tax processes Skills You'll Need to Bring: BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 6+ years of progressive international tax experience across public accounting and/or in-house at a multinational, high-growth company Hands-on experience with preparing international components of quarterly and annual tax provisions Strong working knowledge of U.S. international tax rules (e.g., Subpart F, GILTI, FTC, BEAT and related international reporting concepts) Extensive experience in financial reporting, internal controls, tax compliance and audits Experience partnering effectively across Accounting, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders Proven ability to operate independently, manage complexity, and deliver high-quality work in fast-paced environments Public company experience You don't need to be an AI expert, but you're curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results.
