Perform maintenance and repair work on company equipment, including heavy equipment, and mostly trucks.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, and develop solutions to resolve them
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
Ensure that all equipment-related activities are carried out in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Manage relationships with vendors and equipment manufacturers, negotiating contracts and resolving any issues in a timely manner
Develop and maintain equipment-related reports and metrics, and communicate equipment-related information to stakeholders
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements in equipment maintenance and repair
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Class E drivers license required
1-2 years of experience in maintenance and repairs with trucks (Semi experience, dealership experience, auto body shops).
Non-Travel - home every night. (will have to travel to job sites during the day on occasion).
Strong technical skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment issues
Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Experience using equipment maintenance or repair software preferred
