Sr. Mechanical Engineer

About the role

The Senior Mechanical Engineer leads the development of innovative, manufacturable product solutions from concept through production and lifecycle support. This role applies advanced mechanical engineering expertise and systems thinking to solve complex technical challenges, drive product quality and performance, and support business objectives. Working across cross-functional teams, the engineer leads design, analysis, testing, verification, and manufacturing integration activities while collaborating with engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, marketing, and service teams. The role also provides technical leadership through mentoring, influencing technical direction, driving continuous improvement, and advancing product development capabilities. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and deliver innovative mechanical products and systems from concept through production and lifecycle support. Create and validate designs through CAD modeling, engineering analysis, prototyping, testing, and problem-solving methodologies. Identify technical risks and drive effective solutions to ensure successful project execution and product performance. Partner with cross-functional teams, to deliver successful product outcomes. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineers, designers, and technicians while promoting engineering best practices. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, operational efficiency, cost optimization, and engineering effectiveness. Contribute to product innovation, technology development, and the advancement of engineering tools, processes, and standards.
