Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm with offices in 15 countries, is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to work onsite from our Warsaw office.
Please note that this is a strictly administrative role which does not involve any substantiative legal work. It is not an entry-level position on the legal career path.
Selected candidates will be asked to complete a test verifying their knowledge of the MS Office suite (specifically formatting documents in Word and a task in Excel), as well as an English language proficiency test.
Job responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day secretarial support for a team of lawyers
- Preparing and formatting documents; creating presentations and reports
- Handling correspondence and managing phone calls in both Polish and English
- Cooperating with the Billing Department regarding opening/closing client or matter numbers and preparing documentation (including AML)
- Working with the Business Development & Marketing Department to prepare offers and submissions to rankings
- Managing virtual data rooms (VDR) for due diligence purposes
- Managing lawyers' calendars for journeys, meetings and videoconferences
- Settling lawyers' business expenses in accordance with the firm's internal policies
- Preparing lawyers' time records, necessary for the invoicing process
- Liaising with clients, institutions, offices, and courts
- Cooperating with internal administrative departments
