Bring your energy to Aggreko as 12 month fixed term Payroll Officer / Payroll Specialist based in Braeside . You'll manage the end-to-end process of our AUSPAC payroll, including review, coordinate, and compiling payroll data to maintain payroll records within the ADP database for weekly and monthly pays across AUSPAC (Australia, New Zealand and Fiji). What you'll do as Payroll Officer / Payroll Specialist: Interpret, analysis and data entry of manual weekly time sheets for Australia, New Zealand and Fiji payroll, including overtime calculations and shift payments Payroll journals for weekly payments, checking correctness of payments Review weekly data changes of the different payroll runs Manage payroll activities related new hires, terminations, redundancies, transfers, title changes, wage changes, incentive payments, annual bonus payments, annual wage increases, wage garnering, salary sacrificing and reporting structure changes Ensuring that payroll related balance sheets and accounts are reconciled and controlled and distributing pay advices Own all aspects of Payroll system, including ESS, password reset, employee queries, new starter setups, training and onboarding support Assist the payroll manager with the reconciliation, lodgment and payment of Payroll Tax for Australia, Superannuation AUS, Inland Revenue NZ, FNPF Fiji and all third-party requirements Year-end compliance processing within deadlines Assist with the coordination/ payment compensation claims, including reports on payroll requirements for yearly Work Cover Policy Renewal, Sharesave scheme and novated leases You are: Able to step into this role drawing on approx. 5+ years prior experience working in a payroll processing team environment Experienced running end to end payroll for ideally 200+ employees Comfortable with the complexities of salaried (from ADP) and waged (from managers excel timesheet reports) payroll runs across multiple countries Comfortable with a non-automated payroll process for our timesheet employees - inputting and importing timesheet data from excel sheets to compile waged payroll runs An advanced excel user with knowledge of ADP (ideally also have worked with Workday) Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills A quick learner and be enthusiastic to learn with a strong work ethic and demonstrated ability work with systems An excellent communicator with high level of customer service skills Here's what you'll get: Work from home or in the office, Hybrid (2-3 days in the office in Braeside) Competitive compensation Safety-focused culture Community volunteering program Our people are can-do, positive, resilient and persistent.
