As Art Director of Experiential & Interactive Design, you're a visionary art director with extensive experience in concept design, experiential storytelling and interactive design. You ideate and deliver best-in-class creative projects that span a portfolio of platforms-web, environmental, graphic, and event design-always pushing the creative envelope while maintaining alignment with brand strategy.
With strong fluency in generative AI tools, personalization-at-scale and emerging creative technologies, you will be key to driving dynamic, platform-first storytelling at scale at Fortune 1. You're as comfortable crafting in real time as you are establishing a strategic long-term visual direction. You work well under pressure, know how to inspire others and can bring ideas to life with efficiency and polish. Your ability to connect the dots between business goals, user needs, and cultural zeitgeist is unmatched-and if you happen to have illustration skills, that's a bonus. Above all, you're someone who knows how to harness the power of design to craft experiences that are memorable, relevant, and unforgettable.
What you'll do...
Creative Vision & Cross-Channel Execution
Lead the conceptualization and execution of compelling, culturally relevant design across digital, physical, event-based and environmental experiences.
Translate complex creative briefs and bring creative vision to develop innovative and visually magnetic creative solutions for a broad spectrum of platforms, channels and content formats across the Walmart owned ecosystem.
A natural ideator, known for bringing fresh, unexpected thinking to the table and seamlessly connecting business needs, user goals and cultural zeitgeists.
Champion experimentation and innovation across creative solutions, to elevate content fidelity and experiences.
Multidisciplinary Art Direction
Guide ideation, prototyping and execution with a portfolio showcasing award-worthy interactive and environmental design.
Drive creative innovation by inspiring and leading brainstorms that integrate artistic vision with measurable business and reputational impact, resulting in breakthrough creative solutions that resonate with audiences and align with the brand.
Articulate creative ideas clearly and persuasively to both internal teams and cross-functional stakeholders
Execution and Quality Control
Excel under pressure and maintaining high visual standards throughout every phase of design and the creative process, while consistently delivering on-brand, on-brief, and on-time results-whether leading others or executing personally-without missing a beat.
Lead multiple projects simultaneously, expertly pivoting between shifting priorities to deliver high-quality results that meet or exceed expectations, while maintaining brand fidelity and adhering to strict standards and timelines.
