Schedule, cover, dispatch and trace freight either inbound or outbound (including expedites).
Monitor routes/lanes/shipments for compliance and conformance by service providers.
Communicate with carriers on performance and opportunities.
Maintain strong working relationships with carriers.
Support maintenance and implementation of Long-Term Agreements with carrier partners.
Provide support in the development of requirements, quote packages, data gathering, evaluation and analysis of bid packages.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a relative area.
OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Logistics experience within the manufacturing industry.
Ability to effectively communicate.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.
Strong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing.
Experience with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
Minimal travel required.

This role combines office-based administrative duties with physical activity in field or production environments.
In the office setting, tasks may require extended computer use, sitting, and attending meetings.
Field or floor work may involve walking across various terrains or shop floors, standing, moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), climbing stairs, and exposure to varying temperatures or noise levels.
Must be able to shift focus between detailed cognitive work and occasional physical tasks as needed.

Pay Range:
$51,400.00 - $79,200.00
