Requirements

5-8+ years of newsroom experience, including producing in a major market
Prior experience as a line producer or senior/exec producer

Ability to lead under pressure in breaking news situations
Strong writing, copy editing, and storytelling skills
Familiarity with video editing and social media platforms
Preferred Skills
Experience in a FOX O&O or large-market station
Knowledge of Chicago news landscape
Background in streaming or digital video production

OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY Fox TV Stations FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). JOB DESCRIPTION FOX 32 Chicago is seeking a Senior Producer to lead daily news execution across all platforms while driving digital-first storytelling. This role blends news leadership with streaming strategy, ensuring content performs across all platforms - linear, web, mobile, and social. You are expected to find stories first, develop sources and contributors. Utilize data and analytics to determine what Chicago news fans want. Then deliver it. Refining our approach as needed.
