We are seeking a Senior Engineering Lead to provide technical leadership for teams building and operating cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure using the .NET stack. This is a hands-on role responsible for driving architecture, code quality, delivery excellence, and DevOps maturity while partnering closely with Product Owners and Engineering Managers to execute on the roadmap.
Responsibilities
Act as the technical lead for one or more delivery teams, owning solution design and technical direction.
Design, build, and evolve cloud-native applications using .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET 6+/Core).
Define and enforce architectural standards, coding standards, and best practices.
Lead design reviews, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
Architect and implement Azure-based solutions (App Services, Functions, AKS, Service Bus, Storage, Key Vault, SQL).
Own and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps; promote DevOps and automation best practices.
Partner with Product Owners to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and delivery plans.
Ensure non-functional requirements are met (performance, reliability, security, observability, scalability).
Lead technical troubleshooting of complex production issues and drive root cause analysis.
Mentor senior and mid-level engineers; raise the technical bar across the team.
Drive technical debt management and modernization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong depth in .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET).
Proven experience designing and leading delivery of cloud-native systems on Microsoft Azure.
Observability and monitoring (Application Insights, Azure Monitor).
Security best practices in cloud environments (identity, secrets management, least privilege).
Azure certifications (AZ-204, AZ-305) a plus.
Frontend experience (React/Angular) a plus.
