Explosives Safety Specialist

About the role

You will serve as an Explosives Safety Specialist for NSA WASHINGTON. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting and applying explosives safety, practices, procedures, laws, regulations and policies to carry out an explosives safety program; 2) Determining causal factors contributing to mishaps and/or hazardous working conditions and developing corrective action; 3) Inspecting facilities to determine compliance with standard operating practices and locate potential areas for mishaps; and 4) Developing and/or conducting detailed explosives safety training.
