Your new role As our new Product Owner, you will join the Digital Employee Journey team on a permanent basis, reporting to the Head of Digital Employee Journey and working closely day-to-day to support our Senior Product owners for Digital Employee Support and Digital Workplace. Your role will evolve with business needs for product management of our core employee-facing products for collaboration, communication, support, and general productivity. Your focus during the first 5 months of this permanent position will be on covering key areas of the Digital Employee Support product area while the Senior Product owner is on parental leave. This includes how employees access support, self-service, and knowledge across digital channels such as assisted support and ServiceNow. You will also collaborate with the Digital Workplace Senior Product Owner on knowledge management and digital employee experience (DEX) topics. Based in our Chennai office, you will work alongside a global, international community of Tech Partners, Tech Operations colleagues, engineering and build partners, data and AI specialists, the Digital Adoption team, and enabling functions at Ramboll. You will be exposed to a wide range of stakeholders across the business with the opportunity to develop a strong network across our business. Expect a collaborative, outcomes-driven environment where employee advocacy, AI-enabled experiences, and product ownership are championed. Your key responsibilities will be: Owning employee experience-led product roadmaps and acting as the day-to-day decision point for cross-product trade-offs with key stakeholders - framing product work in terms of experience outcomes and value created in end-to-end employee journeys following established principles and standards. Enforcing standards and resolving experience-level questions and escalations (e.g. where multiple SME stakeholders are involved). Defining requirements for operational execution by the Tech Operations team. Interim covering the Digital Employee Support product ownership -Setting requirements, frameworks and roadmap for how digital employee support services are designed across Ramboll, with a focus on consistency, scalability, and employee centricity. This includes standardising patterns for support journeys across service areas such as technology, workplace, and HR-related services. Supporting Senior Product Owners for Digital Workplace and Digital Employee Support - providing day-to-day support and sparring across both product areas, with a particular focus in your first several months on knowledge management and DEX topics that span Digital Employee Support and the Digital Workplace. Co-developing the knowledge management framework as a cross-team collaboration - partnering with the Digital Workplace product team, the adoption team, and other key stakeholders across our enabling functions and the business to ensure content is user-centric, structured for scale, and fit for both human-assisted and AI-driven support. Further developing our DEX and efficiency metrics - building on existing measurement approaches to mature how we track digital employee experience and efficiency, contributing to broader Ramboll Tech KPIs, and turning product usage and support data into meaningful insight that informs prioritization and continuous improvement. About you Proven experience as a Product Owner for employee-facing support and/or digital workplace products in a large matrix organization, with a track record of developing and owning a product roadmap, managing a product budget, and leading agile sprints for continuous improvement . Hands-on experience with enterprise platforms - ServiceNow and the Microsoft 365 suite are an advantage - including how these products support employee service delivery, self-service, knowledge, and the everyday digital workplace.
