Procurement Manager, Indirect Categories is responsible for the strategic oversight and execution of the regional sourcing lifecycle across the Latin America (LATAM) region. The main objective of the role is to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, develop category strategy, achieve cost savings, improve supplier performance, and mitigate supply chain risks. This role requires a strong understanding of strategic sourcing principles and a general awareness of regional trade regulations, with the ability to partner effectively with the Finance department on cross-border financial implications.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for Indirect categories across the LATAM region , ensuring alignment with global business objectives.
  • Complex RFx Leadership: Lead high-value, complex RFx engagements, including the end-to-end development of RFx documents and rigorous bid analysis to ensure optimal value.
  • Rigorous Vendor Due Diligence and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) : Ensure WeWork is running competitive events ensuring the best partners
  • Category & Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth category analysis, including regional market research, supplier benchmarking, and spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate high-value agreements with regional suppliers to achieve optimal commercial terms and conditions, ensuring full compliance with company policies.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with key internal stakeholders to support new initiatives, ensure alignment with sourcing strategies. (Highly focused Building Operations and Facilities Management)
  • Supplier Management: Support stakeholders with supplier performance through active monitoring, contract management, and proactive issue resolution within the Latin American supply base.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in sourcing practices to increase efficiency in a dynamic, hyper-growth environment.
  • About you
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a business-related field.
  • Fluent in Spanish & English; conversational proficiency in Portuguese required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, with a proven track record of managing complex, high-value RFx projects across Latin America.
  • Regional Expertise: Experience navigating the Latin America (LATAM) procurement landscape and an ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders on regional trade/tax implications.
  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, specifically regarding bid analysis and commercial term evaluation.
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to work efficiently and remain agile in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment.
