About the role
We're looking for a strong communicator and collaborative leader to join our team as Manager, Software Engineering, T&R. In this role, you will lead the delivery, quality, and scalability of a web-based platform by coordinating internal and external development resources. Responsibilities

- Drive Agile delivery processes by facilitating key ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and ensuring effective development workflows, including continuous integration, deployment, and testing practices.
- Establish and enforce quality assurance standards, including code reviews, testing protocols, and performance optimization, to ensure reliable, high-performing application functionality.
- Monitor vendor performance, delivery efficiency, and resource allocation to support effective budget utilization.
- Align technical delivery with business needs while maintaining consistent communication with stakeholders and clients.
- Identify and resolve technical and operational challenges to improve system performance, development practices, and delivery efficiency.
- Collaborate across distributed and cross-functional teams to support delivery objectives and stakeholder alignment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Experience in a leadership or management capacity, including coordination of outsourced or offshore development teams.
- Strong technical background in backend and frontend development, including API-driven architectures and relational databases.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with Linux-based environments.
- Knowledge of data security, legal, and compliance considerations in software development.
