T o provide a professional teaching capability to support learning and development across the range of FSC courses, fire & rescue service qualifications and wider private sector training
To undertake the duties of an instructor including delivering feedback to delegates and when required act as a syndicate lead as part of personal development.
Responsibility to ensure the health, safety and welfare of learners, colleagues and visitors, and delivery off site at other training venues.
To support the FSC annual delivery plan by actively seeking opportunities, broadening skills to support the requirement for delivery tutors to be skilled in a range of specialist areas, and assist with the delivery
of courses that fall outside of these.

About You
Qualified Firefighter instructor with experience in a uniformed training environment (preferably Fire & Rescue Service or a recognised fire training establishment).
Strong understanding of the Fire Sector and working knowledge of the Qualifications and Curriculum Framework.
Nationally recognised training qualification (AET L3 minimum) plus relevant assessor awards; willingness or ability to obtain Internal Verifier accreditation.
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proven ability to work effectively within a team and deliver excellent customer service.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and innovation
